Motorola New 5G Phone: 12GB RAM, Upgraded Snapdragon Processor, Massive 7,000mAh Battery

Motorola is getting ready to refresh its popular Fusion lineup. Ahead of the official launch, a fresh leak has revealed almost everything about the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. From a new Snapdragon chipset to a much bigger battery, the phone looks like a solid upgrade over last year’s model.

Familiar Design With Premium Touch

The leaked details suggest Motorola is keeping its signature Edge design. The phone is expected to come with a quad-curved display on the front and a unique nylon and linen-inspired finish on the back. This gives it a premium look while also improving grip.

It is also tipped to carry strong durability features, including IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification is also expected, making it suitable for daily rough use.

Bright Curved OLED Display

The device is said to feature a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The curved panel will support a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, which should help with scrolling, gaming, and overall responsiveness.

According to the leak, the display can reach up to 5,200 nits of peak brightness. HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection are also expected, making the screen both vibrant and durable.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Brings a Major Change

One of the biggest upgrades is under the hood. Motorola is reportedly switching from MediaTek to Qualcomm this time. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process.

This processor is designed to offer better performance and improved power efficiency. Paired with the Adreno 720 GPU, users can expect smooth multitasking and stable gaming performance.

Same Cameras, Trusted Results

In the camera department, Motorola seems to be sticking with a familiar setup. The phone is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony Lytia sensor as the main rear camera. This sensor is known for good low-light performance and natural colors.

For selfies and video calls, a 32MP front camera is expected. While there may not be major camera changes, the setup should be reliable for everyday photography.

Massive 7,000mAh Battery Upgrade

Battery life looks like a strong highlight. The upcoming phone is said to pack a huge 7,000mAh battery, a noticeable jump from the 5,500mAh unit on the previous model.

It is also expected to support 68W fast charging. This combination should easily last more than a full day for most users, even with heavy usage.

Software and Connectivity Details

The device is expected to launch with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola is tipped to offer three years of Android OS updates along with four years of security updates.

Expected Launch Timeline

Since the previous Fusion model launched in April last year, the new version is expected around the same time. There are also early rumours of a Fusion Plus variant, but no confirmed details yet.

Final Thoughts

Based on the leaked information, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion looks like a well-balanced upgrade. The new Snapdragon chipset, brighter curved display, and massive battery could make it a strong option in the upper mid-range segment.

If Motorola keeps the pricing competitive in India and Bangladesh, this phone could attract users looking for long battery life, clean software, and a premium design without paying flagship prices.
